OOPS! SORRY ABOUT THAT!

Yesterday on my first day back, I couldn't get my Art blog to appear in my own blog reader.
So I had to Follow myself!
Hmm.
Then today when I checked my reader, every single post was listed.
Luckily I only have 6 Followers. (not counting myself, LOL!)
But I apologize to those six people I might have annoyed.
I guess it's a good thing I had only done 12 posts!

Here's what I have to show for today:

A Dachshund, done in Inktense and cut out.
I like doing layers.
I'll probably eventually layer this guy onto a painting.

and.... I was contacted last night by a friend that I used to work with.
She had asked me to some small illustrations on wrapped canvases of her dogs.
She had told me, no rush. Just whenever.
So....it's been a year.
Since she wasn't in a rush, I just kept pushing them off but she's cool with that.
She knows me! LOL!
I promised to get right to work on them, this weekend.
So that is what I'll most likely being showing here on my blog next,

I'm back!
I was tempted to wait 8 more days because that would make it exactly 2,
Yes, TWO years since I last posted.
Wow.
OK, here's the plan.
I'm going to post my Art very day.
WIP's
Completed projects.
Scribbled ideas.
Quick sketches.
Just anything to make myself create each day.

I might have a theme going for a while.
Who knows. I just want it to flow and to be ever changing.
But most important, I want to commit myself to creating Art.

Some "Blue" Illustrations

She needed it "whenever".
Yeah, that's when my procrastination kicks in.
I really need some sort of deadline.
But, whenever is finally here.
I hope she likes it.

Last Christmas I painted several paintings for gifts!
There was Elvis, a Dachshund.

The painting was paper on canvas and acrylics.

and Rain and Princess, A German Shorthaired Pointer and a Terrier Mix.

I did these two in my illustrated style -

and finally Lucius, a Dachshund/Shih-Tzu Mix

also done on paper on canvas with acrylics and glitter.

Early last Spring I did paintings of an adorable dog, Eskimo dog and a sweet Wire-haired Dachshund.
Here's Tyke and Fritz -

Their mom, Anne wanted something Bright and in a Folk Art style.
so I layered up the paper and paint and here's the results. -
